Mr. Michael Kleinrock – IMS Institute

The Global Trend Towards Personalized Medicine

Michael serves as Research Director for the IMS Institute. He writes and speaks regularly on key health care topics related to the current and future place of biopharmaceuticals in healthcare. He brings a deep understanding of complex data sources and analytics from IMS and elsewhere, as well as the historic drivers of performance in key market segments.

Michael joined IMS in 1999 and held roles in customer service, marketing, product management, and in 2006 joined the Market Insights team which in 2011 became the IMS Institute for Healthcare Informatics. Each year he leads the development of the IMS Institute’s Global and U.S. use of medicines reports which provide stakeholders with the only resource of its kind to understand the macro environment around the use and spending on medicines.

Michael holds a BA in History and Political Science from the University of Essex, Colchester, UK, and an MA in Journalism and Radio Production from Goldsmiths College, University of London, UK.
