04 Mar COVID-19: An Unprecedented Mobilization of the Scientific Community
Thomas Cueni, DG of IFPMA, explained how the innovative biopharmaceutical member companies of IFPMA are already helping in the COVID-19 response and are taking practical steps to engage. He also praised the WHO’s structures allowing the sharing of seasonal flu strains for helping in the rapid sharing of COVID-19’s genome across the scientific community, allowing researchers to characterize and begin to understand the threat posed by this new coronavirus.
